Ultimately, the high turnover rate in weblogs is a desirable characteristic. It reflects flexibility, a responsive dynamism, an ability to adapt. The fact that any one weblog (whether mine, yours, or one belonging to some giant of the blogosphere) can and will die is not a weakness. It's a necessary symptom of a system that promotes change.
