4/12/05 - 10:10 AM - I have written a new study on web logs: The Blogging Geyser. We estimate that there are 31.6 million hosted blogs on twenty services, growing to 53.4 million by year end. Since not all services publish their number of accounts, we have had to estimate the account volume based on random sampling of accounts and comparing that to findings for services that do publish volume. I'll be responding to comments and questions about the study in this space in coming days.
